Heard said by a retired General commenting on the war on CNN:
There are two kinds of plans: those that might work and those that won’t work. You have to pick one that might work and make it work.
Sounds like everything I ever did, although sometime I picked plans that wouldn’t have worked no matter what. I think this relates to my other favorite old adage:
Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.
On this basis, if you need a planner, hire me.
